FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does Aificient Studio create?
Aificient Studio helps create AI-generated videos from written ideas, including scenes, characters, images, narration, sound effects, clips, and stitched final videos.
What platforms does Aificient Studio run on?
Aificient Studio is a desktop application available for macOS and Windows. You can download it from https://aificient.io/download.
Can Aificient Studio use local GPUs, rented GPUs, or cloud rendering?
The guide covers local GPU runtime management, rented GPU instances, and subscription-backed Aificient Cloud rendering — a credit-based option that renders scene videos and posters without requiring your own ready GPU.
Can Aificient Studio animate a poster?
Yes. Poster projects turn a single poster into a short animated clip (5–15 seconds) with model-generated sound. You can import finished artwork or let the app design the poster from zero before animating it.
What languages can Aificient Studio narrate in?
Scripts and narration are delivered end to end in 15 languages: English, Spanish, Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish. The language control defaults to Auto, which reads the language from your prompt.
Can I narrate with my own voice?
Yes. Settings > Voices clones a narrator voice from a couple of minutes of your own recordings (up to 5 audio files, 20 MB in total) for a one-off credit cost. Cloned voices appear in the My voices tab of every voice picker, and how many you can keep depends on your plan.
Do I need a subscription, and is there a free trial?
A new account starts with a small gift of welcome credits. When a free trial is on offer it applies to one plan: you save a card, receive the trial credits immediately and are charged nothing until the trial ends. Accounts on a plan or trial can also claim free daily credits once per calendar day.
Can Aificient Studio make UGC ads?
Yes. UGC mode turns what you sell — a product, a course or an event — into a short creator-style ad. Attach up to 6 photos or import a product page, pin up to 2 creators and pick a voice; the planner writes one to ten scenes, each spoken line is read first so the creator lip-syncs to it, and every scene renders on Aificient Cloud. A Crazy hook switch opens the ad on something impossible.
Can the AI edit my project for me?
Yes. Edit with AI, in the bottom-right corner of an open project (Ctrl+K or ⌘K), changes stories, posters and UGC ads when you ask in plain words — rewriting scenes, changing the voice, turning captions on, setting transitions or rendering what is missing. It lists every action it ran and asks before anything costly.
What are skills in Aificient Studio?
Skills are standing instructions the AI follows in every chat where you switch them on — your tone, your structure, what to avoid. Describe one in Settings > Skills and the AI writes it; switch up to 10 on from the Skills pill in any composer or in Edit with AI.
Is there an iPhone app?
Yes. Aificient for iPhone (iOS 17 or later) uses the same account, projects, characters, voices, skills, credits and plan as the desktop and web apps. It makes stories, posters, UGC ads and characters, has Edit with AI, skills and per-cut transitions, renders on Aificient Cloud, follows renders with Live Activities on the lock screen, and sells plans through the App Store. GPUs and publishing stay on the desktop.
Is there an AI support assistant?
The Ask AI support assistant answers product questions using the public support chat endpoint and recent conversation history.
